Eco team at BPA
The role of the Eco team is to ensure each class is doing what they can to save energy and be environmentally friendly in our school and local community. To find out about and share initiatives and to take part in local events and competitions. The eco team meets once a month on a Friday afternoon.
Our objective is to ensure we are sharing with the rest of the school the importance of recycling, not dropping litter, saving energy and other important environmental issues which impact our lives.
Our plan for this year is to continue with and enhance our school initiatives such as litter picking, recycling and developing our environmental areas. We want to participate in schemes to enhance ourselves as an environmentally friendly setting and work with others locally in our community to achieve this. We will look to take part in various competitions and events to raise the profile of the school and what we wish to achieve. We are also planning to visit a local sustainable farm, to give us more ideas on what we can do at school and at home to help the environment.
